First time international road trip. Crossed the border 2 times (Canadian customs was expectedly more friendly). Three people kept good company. Fall colors changed in 4 days. 🍁❤️ Best Thai food in the US in Skowhegan, ME! 🥘

Things I’ll miss the most:
Echoes on the lake,
bell ring from the cows foraging in the valley, drinking milk with a view,
little town surrounded by big mountains,
floating clouds and ripples on the lakes.

April 5-8, 2024 Total eclipse of the sun in Dallas
暫時告別波士頓依然偶爾冰點的追劇生活，飛到溫暖的達拉斯追追太陽系巨大舞台上演的日蝕秀。幸好有神隊友們安排的套裝行程，沒日沒夜的都很有光有愛。
動物園裡看到好多意想不到的動物。食蟻獸有掃把🧹尾巴也愛繞圈圈，獅子🦁完全淡定讓大家隔著玻璃跟他拍照，河馬🦛很懂大家愛看他的大肚子，長頸鹿🦒爸爸一直佔著餵食區的位子把生菜🥬都吃光光沒有留給小孩。
火車博物館的巨大火車們都是歷史上的里程碑，只是小孩們更愛在鐵道上堆石頭。
植物園那天的光很亮很滿，花很嬌很豔，還有好幾個盛裝打扮的公主們讓大家看了也心花怒放。
市區的公園是遛小孩的好地方。噴水池，海綿玩具，還有讓大家飛起來嗨到不要不要的翹翹板。
科學博物館應該是最完美的日蝕秀看秀據點了。看完恐龍🦖化石們在草地上席地而坐等待比化石更有歷史的日全蝕。當太陽被月球變成鑽石💍戒指，本來想聽聽鳥兒們有沒有安靜下來，結果只聽到周遭人群驚呼連連。日全蝕好迷幻，沒有想像中的伸手不見五指，月球背後的白光比起平常感受到的陽光多了個神聖皎潔感，還幸運看到了紅色的太陽閃焰。迷幻又不真實的四分鐘。好、值、得。
這次帶回波士頓的不只滿滿的回憶，還有吃好多好料（家庭式炸雞料理、德州烤肉、迴轉壽司、85度C、墨西哥捲餅、優質餐車、各種口味台啤）造成的1.5公斤。但還是，好、值、得。❤️

Some say that I am a star. I don’t know that but I know I’ve worked hard. Perspiration may only be for imagination, but I certainly deserve a celebration! 🎉🎊🍾️ Next chapter, here we go.
還不知道昨天掉的淚，會不會變成明天的詩。也許今天這頁翻過，明天更適合寫詞。但今天都得好好拍拍自己肩膀，準備明天寫出新的篇章。說不定寫著寫著，就寫到下一站，幸福。🤣

第一次佛羅里達。第一次追火箭。太空迷們擠滿了路邊水邊。看了巴斯光年，可惜這次他沒有帶Artemis離開地球表面。幸好Falcon 9閃亮劃破夜的黑。甘迺迪太空中心好多厲害的東西，世界最大的門、最大的運輸車，但食物的名字需要多用點心😂。陽光、沙灘、海浪、堆沙堡、還有十萬個為什麼和um um要回答。佛羅里達，好地方。

First time Florida. First time going after rocket launch. 🚀 Buzz Lightyear didn’t lift Artemis this time, but Falcon 9 flew through the night sky with a shining light. Kennedy Space Center was full of wonders, but the foods’ names could use some helpers 😂. Sunshine, beach, being melted by not only the weather but also adorable kids. Florida, good place.

On Apr. 30, 1789, George Washington was sworn in as the first President of the United States of America. On Apr. 30, 2022, I watched a musical about Washington’s right hand man, Alexander Hamilton. It all started with a stroke of luck. After the show I am pretty sure we are all lucky to be alive right now. Many thanks to you, Alexander Hamilton, and your crew, past and present. We are not throwing away our shot.

第一次有訪客！感人！去爬了聽說很美的山，結果超級精實從天亮走到天黑，從被樹包圍走到被雲霧包圍，從陰天走到雨天，還差點被風吹走。最後還發現想看的楓葉早就掉光。幸好在山上遇到有經驗的嚮導給我們定心丸，還有雨中摸黑下山的老人與狗幫我們找到對的路。希望明年再來可以遇到大晴天，也繼續遇到這些可愛的人。
First time having visitors! White Mountains’ beauty was again hidden from me behind layers of clouds, fog, and rain. The Loop Trail turned out to be a taxing exercise with steep rocky path and strong wind that seemed determined to blow people away. Descending in the dark and rain was another first and hopefully it would be the last. Luckily some wonderful people came to our help. Hopefully next time it will be all sunny and we will again meet these wonderful people.
